2-Pac Kitchen
Cabinets Melbourne.
No surcharge.
At most Melbourne cabinet makers, 2-pac is an upgrade that adds $2,000–$4,000 to the job. At Contegrity it's included in the base price — same $1,735, your choice of high-gloss or matte, 24+ colours.

What is 2-pac?
2-pac (two-pack polyurethane) is a two-component spray finish cured at high temperature — the same technology used for car body panels. A resin and hardener are mixed just before spraying, producing a surface that is harder, smoother and more durable than vinyl wrap or standard melamine. Contegrity sprays and cures all 2-pac doors at the Noble Park factory before delivery.
Hard, smooth finish
The cured surface resists chipping, yellowing and moisture — no texture, no grain. It looks the same at year 15 as it did on day one.
Won't peel or lift
Unlike vinyl wrap, 2-pac is chemically bonded to the substrate. There are no edges to lift, no seams to peel — particularly important near dishwashers and ovens.
Factory-applied
We spray and oven-cure every 2-pac door at Noble Park before it leaves the factory. In-factory curing produces a harder, more consistent finish than on-site application.
High-gloss or matte
Gloss for a light-reflective, premium look. Matte for a contemporary flat finish that hides fingerprints. Both use the same two-pack chemistry and have identical durability.
24+ colour options
From Brilliant White and Soft White to Charcoal, Navy, Sage Green and custom colour matches. All colours available in both gloss and matte. Samples at the factory.
Included in the base price
No upgrade tier. The same starting price — Kitchens from $1,735 — covers 2-pac, laminate or timber veneer. You choose at no extra cost.

How much do 2-pac kitchen cabinets cost in Melbourne?
At traditional Melbourne kitchen showrooms, 2-pac doors are an upgrade tier that typically adds $2,000–$5,000 to the job. Showrooms charge for the finish because spraying requires a separate spray booth, skilled labour and curing time.
At Contegrity, 2-pac is included in the same starting price because we operate our own spray booth at the Noble Park factory — it's part of the production process, not an add-on service. A typical 4–5 metre kitchen in 2-pac from Contegrity is $4,000–$8,000 cabinetry-only (flat-pack, ex GST) — the same price as laminate.

FAQ — 2-pac kitchens
What is 2-pac (two-pack) for kitchen cabinets?
2-pac (two-pack polyurethane) is a two-component spray-applied finish cured at high temperature. It produces a hard, smooth, non-textured surface — like a car body finish. The result resists chipping, yellowing and moisture far better than vinyl wrap or standard melamine. 'Two-pack' refers to the resin and hardener being mixed just before spraying.
Is 2-pac more expensive than other finishes?
At most Melbourne cabinet makers, 2-pac is an upgrade tier that adds $2,000–$4,000 to a kitchen. At Contegrity it's included in the base price — no surcharge. You pay the same $1,735 starting price whether you choose 2-pac, laminate or timber veneer.
What colours are available in 2-pac?
Contegrity offers high-gloss 2-pac and matte 2-pac across 24+ colours. Popular choices include: Brilliant White, Soft White, Warm Cream, Light Grey, Charcoal, Navy Blue, Sage Green, Gunmetal and custom colour matches. Samples can be viewed at the Noble Park factory.
2-pac vs vinyl wrap — which is better for Melbourne kitchens?
2-pac is more durable. Vinyl wrap can peel, lift at edges or crack near heat sources (oven, dishwasher). 2-pac is sprayed and cured directly onto the substrate — it won't peel. In Melbourne's climate, the durability difference is significant for doors near stoves or dishwashers.
2-pac vs laminate — which should I choose?
Choose 2-pac for a seamless, smooth, high-end look — no visible grain or texture. Choose laminate for a textured or woodgrain finish. Laminate is also slightly more chip-resistant at sharp edges. Both are included in the same base price at Contegrity.
How long does 2-pac last in a kitchen?
A quality 2-pac finish applied correctly lasts 15–25 years in normal kitchen conditions. Contegrity's 2-pac doors are sprayed at the Noble Park factory in a controlled environment and cured in an oven — not applied in-field, which produces a better result.
Can you repair 2-pac if it chips?
Yes, but minor chips are more visible on 2-pac than on textured laminate because the surface is smooth and light-reflective. Repair involves touch-up paint, which is available from Contegrity as a colour-matched kit. For significant damage, Contegrity can cut and spray a replacement door to match.
What is the difference between high-gloss and matte 2-pac?
High-gloss 2-pac has a mirror-like reflective surface — it shows fingerprints more but photographs beautifully and makes smaller kitchens feel larger. Matte 2-pac has a flat finish that hides fingerprints and smudges better and gives a more contemporary, understated look. Both use the same two-pack polyurethane and have identical durability.
Do I need special cleaning products for 2-pac cabinets?
No — mild detergent and a soft cloth is all that's needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads and harsh chemicals (bleach, acetone, alcohol-based sprays). High-gloss 2-pac shows fingerprints and water marks more than matte finishes — a regular wipe-down keeps them looking clean.
Does Contegrity spray 2-pac doors in-house?
Yes. All 2-pac painting is done at our Noble Park factory before doors are packed and delivered. We don't outsource spraying. In-factory application allows curing in a controlled oven environment, which produces a harder, more durable finish than on-site application.
