FAQ
Is Contegrity cheaper than Ikea?
For a like-for-like specification — Blum soft-close hardware, 18mm HMR board, custom sizes — Contegrity matches or beats Ikea. Ikea is only cheaper if you accept stock cabinet sizes and Ikea's base hardware.
Can I use the Ikea kitchen planner with Contegrity cabinets?
No — Ikea's planner outputs Ikea SKUs. Use our free planner instead. It works the same way but every cabinet is cut to your exact millimetre.
Are Ikea Metod kitchens good quality?
They're decent for the price, but the standard board is 16–18mm particleboard and the base hardware is generic. To match Contegrity's specification you need to upgrade the hinges and runners, which closes the price gap fast.
Will my Ikea benchtop and appliances fit Contegrity cabinets?
Yes. Our cabinets are built to standard depths and heights, and we can match Ikea's spacing so existing benchtops, splashbacks and appliances drop in.
Can you assemble Ikea kitchens or only your own?
We only supply and (optionally) assemble Contegrity cabinets. If you've already bought Ikea, your local handyman can install it — but if you're still deciding, get a quote from us first.
